The environmental works are designed to merge with the space and involve the viewers, making them active and aware. Biasi started making “ambienti [environments]” from the second half of the 1960s onwards, in some cases basing his designs on earlier works, such as the Light Prisms, conceived in 1962 and created to fit into the space in 1970 on the occasion of the exhibition Vitalità del negativo nell’arte italiana 1960/70.
